Weaken ourselves refusing to swap Hales in for Roy and no matter how good strokes is in the longer formats, he’s simply not a T20 player. Doesn’t gets wickets or runs.

Like that he told Malan in the previous game that they were trying to keep him in to waste balls.
Good pitch for this game, hopefully will see ones like this in the World Cup. England lose the last two despite batting with the dew. Thats got to hurt. A bit too set in their plans and selection.

I havent really paid attention to Malan in the IPL .... as I understood it his T20 form has been in non-Indian conditions
A few players , especially on the Indian side, will be looking for a good IPL to push their cases.
On their side its been mentioned they have one too many anchor players & need to be looking more at the likes of Kishan & Yadav than Rahul.
They will be much better with Bumrah & Jadeja as well.
